　　第二，避免重復(fù)表達(dá)

　　我們還是用例子來(lái)說(shuō)明這個(gè)策略：One of the things that fascinates us most about mobile phones is the popular belief that mobile phones not only provide us with entertainment, but we can use mobile phones to contact other people.這個(gè)句子從總體上表達(dá)還是很不錯(cuò)的，但是卻有一個(gè)美中不足的缺點(diǎn)，mobile phones這個(gè)詞重復(fù)出現(xiàn)了三次，我們有兩個(gè)辦法可以避免這個(gè)錯(cuò)誤，是用代詞they或them代替，第二是用cell phones這些同義詞進(jìn)行替換，這樣，讀起來(lái)就沒(méi)有那么拖沓重復(fù)了。

　　第三，關(guān)聯(lián)句子要破鏡重圓

　　很多時(shí)候，同學(xué)們寫了好幾個(gè)句子，但是由于忽略了這些句子之間存在的關(guān)聯(lián)，會(huì)讓讀者覺(jué)得文章的內(nèi)容有些破碎，比如下面這句話：Biogas plants are a clean and economical way of producing vast amounts of urgently needed energy. Local residents are supposed to be willing to put up with them. 這兩句話是有關(guān)聯(lián)的，所以我們可以很巧妙的用一個(gè)定語(yǔ)從句將原句改為：Biogas plants are a clean and economical way of producing vast amounts of urgently needed energy, which local residents are supposed to be willing to put up with. 于是乎，意思表達(dá)得完整了，句子的難度也增加了，一舉兩得，何樂(lè)而不為呢?

　　第四，邏輯聯(lián)結(jié)詞要刻骨銘心

　　在托福作文中，邏輯表達(dá)一定要清晰連貫，于是，我們就離不開一些地道好用的邏輯連接詞的幫助了。比如，表示“，首先”，我們可以用first and foremost/ in the first place;表示“第二，其次”，我們可以用in addition/ furthermore/ what is more;表示“后”，可以用last but not least/ in the final analysis;表示“總而言之”，可以用in a nutshell/ to sum up。當(dāng)然，也很鼓勵(lì)同學(xué)們自己去總結(jié)一些好用喜歡的邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)詞。
